Margaret Kay is a wife to her best friend of 40+ years, a mother of two adult children, a grandmother, and a dog-mom who makes her own dog food. She counts herself as fortunate that she has turned her passion of daydreaming about characters and storylines into books that people want to read.
Margaret Kay is one of my two favorite authors and her Shepherd Security series is amazing. This book is very different from Shepherd Security, and is every bit as good. I enjoy reading about people in their 40s and older who are facing real life situations. That First Year is a great book and I highly recommend adding it to your must read list!
I truly enjoyed this story by Margaret Kay. It was very well written. The character development was outstanding. This was just a very marvelous story; one that you will really enjoy reading. I highly recommend reading this book.
I was totally hooked from the start. The characters were well developed and believable. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in family relationships. I was reading til late because I wanted to know what happened next.
Charlie’s New Home is a heartwarming story that will have the reader totally engrossed. It is a wonderful story throughout. Having a beautiful dog as the main character just puts the icing on the cake! I highly recommend reading this story by Margaret Kay!
My first Margaret Kay book is a warm hug on a snowy day. Maybe is a dedicated CPA and a volunteer who is athletic and bouncing back from a heartbreak. Alex is a Reservist, athletic and a tree trimmer. Neither of them no that their mutual love for a dog will change their futures. This is a story that is short, completely addictive and well worth reading. Dive in!
Maeve takes Charlie in after his soldier owner has no choice but to surrender him. The plan is for Charlie to foster out and Alex to return to get him after his deployment. Maeve and Alex start to correspond and things develop from there. This book shows what our military experience in the field and the real world consequences of National Guard members leaving their civilian lives to deploy. It is a sweet story of two people finding the way forward with a great ending.
